As well as acting, Mark is involved in the arts industry in other ways. He has had professional training as an arts practitioner and has facilitated young people ages 5-18 in skills based drama sessions, as well as devising sessions to create a performance or short film at the end of a term.

Mark is a trustee for the arts charity Mortal Fools, where he works on a board team to advise the charity in the arts sector as well as catering for young people's needs. With this, Mark has presented at charity ambassador events for potential investors.
